Creative Director/ Art Director

About

I’ve been working with advertising and art direction for a long time. Exactly 20 years now. When I finished my college, I started to work in some small agencies for different types of clients. After my graduation, I worked for a couple years in a small agency, developing campaigns for big clients such as MAPFRE, DELTA AIR LINES and ABN AMRO Bank, with more focus on Direct Marketing. In 2005 I’ve started to work at Y&R Sao Paulo. Since then I’ve been working for big clients such as Danone, Goodyear, TAM Airlines, LG, Telefonica, Honda, Peugeot, Xerox, among others, developing all kind of advertising. Currently, at VMLY&R New York, I’m working for Dell Technologies, developing online and offline campaigns, focusing on B2B and consumers.

Hi! My name is Paulo Monteiro. I’m Brazilian and a proud father of a beautiful 5-year-old son. I have over 20 years of experience in advertising and art direction. My journey began shortly after college, where I worked in small agencies across various clients. After graduation, I spent a few years at a small agency focusing on Direct Marketing for major clients such as MAPFRE, Delta Air Lines, and ABN AMRO Bank.

In 2005, I joined Y&R São Paulo, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with prominent brands like Danone, Goodyear, TAM Airlines, LG, Telefónica, Honda, among others, and work with the most talented professionals in the advertising industry, developing a diverse range of advertising campaigns. In 2016, I moved to New York to work at VMLY&R, where I partnered with brands like Xerox, Cirque du Soleil, and Altice, and over the last five years, I focused on Dell Technologies, creating impactful online and offline campaigns for both B2B and consumer audiences.

Now, at BOM Communications, my own creative agency, I’m dedicated to partnering with brands committed to making a positive impact on the planet. This venture allows me to harness all my creative talents to develop work that I truly believe in and am passionate about.
